I started building science fiction models when I was about 11. My first model was an AMT/Ertl Romulan Bird of Prey. I didn't do such a good job on it. My next one was the U.S.S. Enterprise from "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan". That
model, too, met a premature end. Since then I have built several Star Trek models, only three of which still survive: the Vulcan shuttle from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", the AMT/ERTL classic ENTERPRISE, and the K'Tinga Class
Klingon Cruiser from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture".

My current modeling interests are starships as I am slowly re-introducing myself into modeling, thanks to my new friends at the Maritime Science Fiction Modelers.

I also like famous cars from popular television shows such as "Knight Rider" or "The Dukes of Hazzard", in addition to a fledgling interest in aircraft which is a carry-over from my days as an Air Cadet in Halifax.

Besides modeling, I also do HTML and web design as a hobby. To pay the bills, I'm a major crime investigator for the Department of National Defence.
